Even though WordPress was originally designed as a blogging platform, less than 20% use it only for blogging. It’s versatility makes it perfect for general website use. Simple tools like links, tags, pages and posts make it easy to control your content.

Free – WordPress is a free software developed by an open source* community. That means you do not have to pay to use it and there are lots of plugins and people working to always improve it.
*Open source – development of software that gives open access to the product's source materials. This allows the world comunity to develop it.

SEO – Search Engine Optimization – Everyone wants their website to show up on page one on Google.  There are several plug-ins for WordPress that help you optimize your site’s SEO without having to know any code.  This is done by allowing you to customize every post or page using keywords, headers and descriptions.

RSS* – Keep your clients up-to-date with news, products. Setting up an RSS* feed in other web applications is more complicated and time consuming, WordPress does the work for you.
*RSS – Really Simple Syndication – a format for sending information. It is also known as a ‘feed’ or ‘aggregator’ or ‘Atom feed’. An RSS feed can contain your latest post. It makes it easy for people to keep up to date with sites they like, in an automated manner.
